Zac Kramer
Mentorship Co-Chair, NLC Columbus

A native of Shaker Heights, Zac attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where he graduated with a double major in history and political science. After graduating, he began working for the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee, holding various positions before being promoted to executive director in 2012. He led the organization during the historic recall elections of 2012 where the Democrats took over the majority in the Wisconsin State Senate. Zac moved back in Ohio in 2013 to take over as the executive director of the Ohio Senate Democrats, a role he held for the 2014 and 2016 campaign cycles. In 2018, Zac was campaign manager for Joe Schiavoni's campaign for Governor and is now happily retired from politics. When not working, Zac is usually playing video games, listening to the Grateful Dead, watching one of Cleveland’s sports teams or hanging out with his wife Erika and daughter Madison.
