Nicolle Vasquez Del Favero

Nicolle Vasquez Del Favero is an assistant attorney with Naval Facilities Atlantic Command under the Office of General Counsel for the Department of the Navy. Ms. Vasquez Del Favero serves on the board of directors for the Military Spouse JD Network as the state licensing director responsible for overseeing state bar rule change efforts regarding military spouse provisional admission policies across the country. In addition, Ms. Vasquez Del Favero is also a founding board member of Project Makeover, Inc., a 501(c)(3) working to empower college students to address educational inequalities in Title I elementary schools through student-led school makeovers. Prior to her work with the Department of the Navy, Ms. Vasquez Del Favero was one of 25 young lawyers chosen from across the nation to pursue public interest law during a two-year Skadden Fellowship. As a Skadden Fellow, Ms. Vasquez Del Favero served as a staff attorney at the Domestic Violence Action Center in Hawaii, representing victims of domestic violence affiliated with the military in restraining order, divorce, and paternity cases. Ms. Vasquez Del Favero is a proud graduate of the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and Northeastern University School of Law. Though a transplant from Miami, Florida, Ms. Vasquez Del Favero has called Norfolk, Virginia home for the past 4 years (the longest place she’s resided in over a decade.) A proud Hampton Roads resident, she enjoys exploring the outdoors and all that Virginia has to offer with her husband, Michael, and their two rescue pups Josie, the southern belle, and Casper, the disaster.
