Dania Korkor
Senior Counsel to Commissioner Ellen L. Weintraub, Federal Election Commission
Dania N. Korkor serves as Senior Counsel to Commissioner Ellen L. Weintraub at the Federal Election Commission. In this role, she advises the Commissioner on issues related to federal campaign finance law and manages the Commissioner’s enforcement work. Prior to joining the Commissioner’s staff, Dania served as a Staff Attorney at FairVote, a national electoral reform organization. She also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. Dania earned a JD from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2013, where she specialized in Alternative Dispute Resolution. While in law school, Dania earned a MA in Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University, John Glenn College of Public Affairs in 2013. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a BA in Psychology and minor in Arabic in 2010. Dania serves on the Board of RepresentWomen, an organization that works to increase women's representation in elected offices, and is a member of various non-profit organizations focused on civil rights, advocacy, and supporting women. Above all, Dania is the proud mother of two boys, married to Sean Wright, the daughter of Syrian immigrants, and the sister of three older brothers.
