Beth Brink
Chief Administrative Officer, Columbus City Auditor's Office - Division of Income Tax
Beth Brink (she/her) proudly serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Income Tax Division of the Columbus City Auditor's Office. In this role, Beth works with an outstanding administrative team to oversee business operations, policy, and communications for the City of Columbus Income Tax Division. Prior to this role, Beth served as a Budget and Management Analyst for the State of Ohio Office of Budget and Management, the Program Manager for the United Way of Central Ohio’s Tax Time initiative, and the Community Service Program Coordinator for the University of South Carolina’s Leadership and Service Center. Volunteerism and servant leadership have been central to Beth’s professional endeavors; she continues to serve as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance tax preparer through the Tax Time program despite passing the program management baton years ago. As a lifelong learner, Beth received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ohio University and a Master’s of Public Administration from The Ohio State University’s John Glenn College of Public Affairs. Between her classroom and career experiences, Beth has developed a passion for developing and delivering on strategy as well as breaking down complex financial topics into plain language. Her mission in life is to bring the sparkle into her day-to-day responsibilities and interactions. Beth grew up in Springfield, Ohio, but proudly calls Columbus home. She enjoys spending time with her family (especially her nieces), cooking for her chosen family of friends, and making time for sunshine and hiking trails.
